We had the good fortune of connecting with Dyllyn, Jay Siliezar, Dangelo George and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dyllyn, Jay Siliezar, Dangelo George, what role has risk played in your life or career?
We feel like everything we do is a risk. There wouldn’t be such thing as growth or change if there wasn’t risk being taken everyday. When it comes to music, there is a small or big chance of a risk driving the music to a different level or just keeping us in place. This keeps us motivated. We as a team understand what it’s like to fall, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get back up and keep pushing to make a risk something positive. The music keeps us in, and there will be more risk to come whenever we do beat selection, lyric choices or photoshoot ideas.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
(Jay) When it comes to making music, I like to dig deep and make sure I am as true as possible. Writing lyrics is important and carries everything for me. All the late nights and the writers block I’ve been through has made me proud of my work. This is something I enjoy doing and work hard for so over coming any challenges isn’t difficult for me because of the passion and drive I have for my Artistry. I learn from my mistakes and keep my composure when things become difficult, life can break a simple man if he isn’t prepared to take on what’s coming. I am most excited about this new project that is coming out in May. It is called “Explaining Myself”. I just released the first single for the Project March 5th, its called “Wondering” and is on all streaming platforms. I am sure I set the base down of what my project will be about. I want people to understand where I come from when it comes to my music, not everyone has a good day, it might be a bad week. I want to world to know, you are not alone. (Dangelo) Starting off with garage band In middle pushed me to do music through out high school where I then started producing edm remixes. As the years went by I started to develop my own flow and character with my voice. I started working on My ep “ I was raised better” jr year of high school and with the help of Dyllyn and jay it made me push my self taking us 2 years to finish mixing and finally released it bc we weren’t satisfied with the quality. At the moment I’m currently hibernating with self produced music and gathering a number of single to release later this year along with working on sound design for a short film and synch listening.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
(Dangelo) Growing up in Houston Texas is a blessing from the food to the people it is the exact definition of southern hospitality, and with that comes the best spots you could ever think of. I personally spend majority of my time in the inner city from shopping to eating somewhere different every night. Houston is the only city you can enjoy a drive late night on your way to get coffee before heading to the studio. (Jay) Houston is definitely my favorite city, growing up here made me the person I am today. There is culture, with many of the trends that started here and still have carried into this new wave of music coming. My favorite spot would has to be the Montrose area or The Heights, there is many places to eat and hang out with friends. There is lots of trees and at night, its just perfect.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thank you to our family and friends. There is no way we would be where we are right now if it wasn’t for them. The support and energy that comes from them is unexplainable in itself. You have to feel it in order to really understand what it is like. (Jay) Back in 2019 whenever Dyllyn, Dangelo and I first formed everything was very new. A team was very different, it felt good to have 3 heads work as one on music we believed in. I am grateful for them and will like to shout them out as an inspiration to me. (D’angelo George) The past 3 years wouldn’t have been possible with out my families support and the knowledge of my pops Carlos fields (C.W Fields). Even though I’ve only released one ep friends took support to a whole nother’ level and big shout out to the students at Texas state university for showing mad love.
