Meet E Rose

We had the good fortune of connecting with E Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi E, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is an inherent part of growth and progress, both personally and professionally. It’s often the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. Taking risks can lead to opportunities, innovation, and the discovery of new strengths or perspectives, even if it involves uncertainty and potential failure.
While I took the risk on myself by moving to houston solely on the whelm of I’m going to be successful , I had it in my mind and heart that my business venture would be nothing short of amazing . Risk -taking plays a metaphorical role in my career and purpose. Bringing “ Rose Code” to houston from Ohio took risks by exploring, pushing boundaries to develop my clientele, sharpen my knowledge and create an environment that no one else is bringing to the surface. This willingness to take calculated risks has led to make connections of a life time . While also helping “ Rose Code” in the future help create countless new possibilities for education, creativity, and problem-solving when opening my spa .
For me personally , embracing risk is about balancing preparation with courage—understanding what’s at stake, making informed decisions, and being open to learning from outcomes, whether they succeed or fail. So taking the risk for me was everything & still is .
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The Rose Code , is a brand that is about creativity, empowerment, and well-being. As a poet, model, and entrepreneur, I use my platforms to inspire self-expression, confidence, and self-care. As my brand grows, my vision includes opening spas to provide spaces for relaxation, healing, and connection within my community. Growing on this journey has not been easy at all , overcoming the challenges of relocating , gaining new clients, building resilience and understanding of my business in a new environment but I wouldn’t change it for the world . I’ve been able to capitalize on my strengths in being able to overcome adversity and strive towards success. Every step of my journey, from writing poetry to modeling and launching my aesthetic business, has been about creating beauty and inspiring others. Now, as I expand my brand, I’m excited to give back to my community by creating spas that promote holistic well-being. In addition to promoting holistic wellness, I feel as though that is one of the main factors that sets me apart from others. Lessons that have stuck with me so far in my journey and career have been that not everyone will support you, not everyone will agree or take heed to your mission and your contribution won’t always be suitable to all . But all in all it has taught me valuable lesson. I’m proud of the achievements that I have achieved over the year that I’ve been here in houston . Setting up my career as a model , being featured in run way shows , letting my artistry speak for itself and being unapologetic Rose.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were to come visit me in houston it would be the best time hands downs . Depending on what time of the year she would have come to visit would determine a lot as to what we would do , speaking as if she were to come in January we would catch a rockets game , concert , or comedy show . She would take a yoga class or pole class to be active and productively fit . We can’t be lazy just because she’s on vacation . During the day we venture out at check out the galleria , take on the experience of ice skating in the mall . In Ohio we don’t typically see an ice rink in the mall everyday . I’d take her to sight see in a few museums such as art club , museum or fine arts and more . We’d definitely go to some soul food spots and check out some of the black own restaurants. The breakfast Klub is top of my list to show her , great food and experience. She would enjoy Esther’s Cajun cafe , lost and found , taste bar & grill , and even stick talk . The night life in houston is beyond fun , we would experience Sekai night club , rooftop cinema club uptown , we would go to midtown, Chatman and Kurby on Sunday for Sunday fun day and Dome .
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly , I don’t want to sound cliché but I want to give recognition to God first and for most ; secondly , my mother – Tonya “ Suga “ Baker because without her I wouldn’t be the woman that I am today . The drive that that woman instilled in me , the grit of being able to stand on your own two feet to make your dreams your reality isn’t a lesson most can teach or even learn . But the unconditional love she has shown me , within the unforgettable life lessons of being humble , open-minded & a student of life not just a teacher has brought me thus far. She has held me together , provided for me and never once fell short . She taught me how to hustle & never give up on the vision for myself! Shout out to you Suga , thank you .
