We had the good fortune of connecting with Emmanuel Castro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Emmanuel, how do you define success?
Defining success is just as describing Albert Einstein theory on time. Success is relative! I do believe that success is found within. When we finally discover that our happiness can also be measured as success we learn that this desired goal is just that a personal goal. So in my words success is being genuinely happy and be able to sustain yourself or your family doing that things that you love!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So Emmanuel Castro has multiple alter egos and this is a very important thing to understand in order to learn more about me. Mr. Castro is a family man HR Professional serving in the Armed Forces while ECAST Da’Producer is the first creative part of my life, the one who puts sounds together and creates records, then theirs Manny Lugo the passionate heart minded, that one who puts words of love or heart breaks in songs.
Believe it or not each on of these complete, fit and support each other. Its like having an internal networking team wearing many hats. This is what sets me apart from other in the Music Industry. Like many others who have come this way before becoming creative mind, undertaking entrepreneurship etc. its not an easy task it takes sacrifices, genuine love and respect for the craft in orders to maintain focus and discipline. So to answer that question, no, it is never easy but its also not an impossible task! Any one can do it.
I started pursuing music professionally in 2016 graduating but started to navigate the arts of music when I was just five years old. I had the opportunity to perform as a child in many different stages and countries. Had the opportunity to perform with The Symphonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico direct by Roselín Pabon two times at the Puerto Rico Center of Fine Arts. Travel to Turkey and Russia to participate at the International Children’s Festival. Also had the opportunity of opening act for Steven Adler from Guns And Roses at the Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood and many other great experiences that have been a part of my development as a creative person.
Today, I have been dedicating my energy in developing my brand as artist and producer ECAST Music Group is the umbrella that hold all the creatives means of my now professional career.Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Haha! This is a fun one. Luckily living in California gives me some wiggle room to come with some ideas. I live in the Salinas Valley in a small town called Greenfield, mostly everything is a drive from here but here it goes. early wake up! 6am head out to Old Town Salinas get some good breakfast at First Awakening or grab a coffee from the Beerded Bean shop, then take a drive to Carmel Valley visit Pebble Beach and a nice walk to at Point Lobos, then hit Monterey and visit the fishermen wharf’s grab some of the worlds famous Clam Chowder go watch some sea lions and sea otters, then hit the road once more up HWY 1 to Santa Cruz and visit the Boardwalk get some deep fried Twinkie and street tacos then hit the Mystery Spot and maybe the Roaring Camp and that a wrap! If there’s still room for dinner then hit Luigi’s Italian Restaurant on Gonzalez on our way back. Haha California is a great sightseeing wonder
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First I have to give God huge credit for keeping me blessed and grounded, I also want to give my family mom, wife and kiddos for giving me the extra push every time and for always being my safety net when times hit hard. Last but not least I would like to give a shout to my three best friends J-Glass da Movement, Biggie Zo & Dimelo Sean who for the past 3-4 year have been line of guidance, support, mentorship, love and encouragement on accomplishing success in my artistic endeavors.
