Hi Geoffrey, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Truly it was important to have an opportunity to have a final chapter in my career where I can share and excite my vision of fashion, style and creativity.

My life has allowed me to listen,learn and experience moment’s in faahion and this now is my ethos on bringing this purity of vision to life

Gracity brand is the space in between black and white. Allowing a sense of quiet and thoughtfulness that is bounded by the noise on each side of fashion

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Gracitytx is the brand that is the foundation of whom I am and my perspective on how art is the key influencer in life and how we visually journey.

My true art career started as a fashion illustrator in Canada where I was fortunate to sketch for fashion editorials, magazines, runway and iconic brands which elevated my career. I have been published in global magazines from British ELLE, Vogue, FLARE, CLINDOEL, Toronto Life Fasihion, Italian VOGUE.. My sense of sensuality and classic styling in my illustrations provide a sense of fantasy for the audience and allows me to bring fashion into a realm of joy and art.
Today I am using this as a canvas to pieces in the collection so that the joy of my art is now translated onto dress, tops, scarves and notebooks…. giving the customer a platform to be expressive in how they style art and fashion.

Fro myself.. Gracity is allowing me to bring a different perspective on fashion and style that is a balance between emotion, perception and secrets of the individual..
through shape, proportion and fabric the brand provides quiet style, inward details and briniging quest luxury with a sense of poise, elegance and relevance. The pieces embody how a women embraces the power within vs the trend outwards.

I want to be know as a thoughtful designer whom embodies a sense of purity of design and purpose…always reflecting on how a woman owns her body and projects classic poise and confidence.

what’s next,, MENSWEAR,,, with a thoughtful expression os style that evokes deep rooted indicators of masculinity and femininity,,, the balance between how the male needs to soften his emotions yet be dominant in how he projects his male stature

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a quiet purist that doesn’t need to be in the NOISE of the city,, TEXAS would be my expression of showcasing how I see a state that I am not from,, but a state that I think is so pure in a sense of pride, rebellion and history…

few places I would recommend.

Marfa,, sense of wide open texas that evokes pride, openness. limitless
Galveston.. historical reference of an era of the past and the opulence of life during Galvestons prime.
Houston,, a city of diversity beyond and so for me its about a few things..
Herman and memorial park,,,,,,,, a brilliant escape in the city….
NASA,,,, the wonderment of mankind and exploration
bayous……
DALLAS/FT WORTH>. the stockyards…. history, emotion, grit, true texas Modern museum in fort worth,,, stellar quiet reflections of art and architecture. The Bowie house. A classic mix of history, rebellion and style Kessler park, bish0p arts in Dallas…. oasis in the city and youthful expression of the past and present.

I would encourage just drive,,,,, texas is big,, is open, has a sense of exploration and excitement.. so don’t think about what to see,, think about what to explore and let yourself just journey across the state.. I still haven’t explored much, but I love the sense of bewilderment of the state, the people and the emotions..

I have had the opportunity to share experiences with so many people in my life that influenced and inspired me. So many individual s have molded and inspired me from the simplicity of a stranger to people
Close to me.

My mother was the person that inspired style and fashion where her sense of style and her foundation of poise and confidence in life.

Alfred sung. Founder of club Monaco and his name sake brand whom provided me with the foundation of how design is a
Canvas of pure it’s and reduction. How the shape and form on the body should be the canvas to create moments of style His pure sense of style continues to drive me in my ethos is my start to beginning on how I look at faahion and creating
