Hi Germesie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My Thought Process On Starting A Buisness Is Simple I’ve Always Wanted My Own Buisness In Fashion Because it’s always been a dream and a passion for me and also the Financial freedom to be able to take care of my family Iv worked every since I was 15 teen years old helping and building other companies who never gave me the respect or motivation I needed to grow so I said to myself one day I will start my own Buisness and build it brick by brick and have the respect given to me by me so in 2019 I launched my own clothing boutique in honor of my mother who always told me I could do whatever I put my mind to because of my work ethic and the passion I have for fashion sadly I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2003 so when I started my Buisness in 2019 I thought about everything my mother taught me about the fashio.n world and when the oandienc hit I felt it was time to take a leap of faith and I did just that with the money I was earning from my job and I saved for about 5 months and in July 13 2019 I launch the g collection boutique

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Iv been in the nursing field for over 20 years caring for others a gift my mom said I always have had and when she became ill with breast cancer and I had to end up caring for her I felt in my heart this was my passion to care for others I also know that in this line of work it takes a whole lot of patience to do the job and Iv always told people you have to have patience to care for others or this isn’t the job for you so I can honestly say what sets me apart from others is that standing by your word shows honesty , integrity and dependability all of which are intangible skills that sets me apart from others . Now what I’m most proud about is having the courage to not let fear be a option in my life anymore and I’m excited about what lies ahead for me and my Buisness it’s been a long time dream of mines and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to become better as a individual , entrepreneur and Buisness owner my life and career was never easy by the time I was 26 years old I had 5 children rasing them on my own working and still attending college courses while all trying to just figure out life and then I took the roll of helping care for my mother at the age of 25 by the age of 26 years old I lost my mom to breast cancer she was only 45 years old I was devasted so I went into a very bad deep depression which lead to some pretty traumatic events in my life however I survived them all and I kept going no matter how many times I was knocked down and trust me I got knocked down a lot but however no many how many times I got knocked down I always ! Got back up because I knew my children and my family needed me so I continued to do the work I believe god chose for me and that was being a caregiver and making other lives better I had always been afraid to step out on faith to pursue my passion in fashion because I believed that NOBODY would believe in me and I was always afraid to fail but that was all in my head so I’n 2019 I started to condition my thinking and I started to listen to motivational speeches by les brown , will smith and my favorite Denzel Washington motivational speech and those are some of the tools I used to overcome a lot of things but most importantly I Prayed the lessons I learned was to never give up stay true to yourself and your craft love others unconditionally Dream Big Stay Entourage and take risk because I found that nothing in life is worth wild unless you take risks because there is no passion to be found playing small and settling for a life that’s less than the one you’re capable of living . What I would like the world to know about me and my brand is simple fall forward because at least this way I can see what I’m about to hit because without consistency you will never finish so I would like the world to know is do what you feel passionate about, take chances ,and don’t be afraid to fail

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My Favorite spots to hang out is the black history museum Iv always been into history and politics I love learning about my history and my culture as a black women

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Most Definitely my 5 children but most importantly my oldest daughter Passion Cooper -Semple who I gave birth to at only 14 teen years old she has been my rock and second mother to here siblings because I was a single mother trying to raise kids on my own my I owe everything to her and when it came to my Buisness she has been my right hand in helping me structure my Buisness as far as technology and teaching me the basic I needed to be successful because she is a very smart individual also my family and close friends who always supported anything I did also I would like to thank ambitious marketing for teaching me how to market better and for all the coaching sessions I attended to allow me to grow my Buisness . Also every morning when I wake I listen to mg motivational speaker Les brown , listening to les brown gives me motivation.
