We had the good fortune of connecting with Guero Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Guero, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would have to say that the most important factor to the success of the business is great customer service. No matter what type of day I’m having, I’m always polite to our patrons: asking them how they’re doing, engaging in small talk, making them laugh… whatever it is, I try to be as polite as I can and really cater to them, make them feel good. The food is great, but how you make them feel really impacts if that person will come back. I would say great customer service, a great product and the relationships I build with my people is what has brought success to my business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Soy taquero wey! I’m excited for what the future holds for our business, I know it’s going to be great but getting there won’t be easy. Either way, I’m excited to go through everything that needs to happen and grow from that. I worked very hard to get to where I am today but I feel like consistency is what kept me going. Good days bad days, good months bad months… it didn’t matter, I had to keep going. It was so hard sometimes but I had to keep pushing, I knew it would workout eventually. I’m learning so many new lessons everyday, I can’t keep up with them. I want the world to know that I love y’all and come support ya boy – the food’s fire!
