Meet Jaleel Bannoura | Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaleel Bannoura and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jaleel, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I was born and raised in Bethlehem, Palestine. Bethlehem is a city in the West Bank and where Jesus Christ was born. I come from a middle class family who did nothing but work days and nights. everyone in the family worked so hard including me. I was working when I was nine years old with family members and people in the city who I knew. I believe that living in a hard working family made me want to work as hard as they did and even more. to me working 7 days a week and 10+ hours is absolutely fine, and is fun for me. Working in restaurants, shops, and many other industries made me understand how life works at a young age. I learned how to talk to people, how to serve customers, and how to run a business which had helped me a lot in what I do today.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started 11PowerWash 6 months ago, 11PowerWash is an exterior cleaning company that specializes in Pressure Washing and Window Cleaning. Focusing on the services we provide to our customers, taking the time needed when working on customers properties to give the best results possible, being fully licensed and insured to protect our customers properties, and the customer experience that customers get when working with us is what sets my company apart from the rest. I’m very proud of the level my company reached in this short period of time and the trust that I’m getting from people means a lot to me. 11PowerWash is still growing, I haven’t reached the first year in business yet. my company’s name is getting out there because of the amount of advertisements I have in social media, magazines, Google, word of mouth from people who done business with us, etc. It wasn’t easy, I did everything in the company from A to Z, I built the van, I created the website, and I did all the work and advertisements to get noticed, knocking doors to get the first client and reaching out to companies every day and try to get their business. I want to tell the world that this is just the beginning, I started the company at 19 and there is more to come, my passion is business and real estate and I’m looking forward for the future.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite event every year is the Houston Rodeo, I will definitely take them to the rodeo and that if they came in march. Galveston is great to spend the day in, swimming and fishing in summer is great in Galveston or Kemah. They have to try a smoked meat from Houston. finally, I would take them to the galleria mall for shopping.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a huge shoutout to my parents for supporting me and being there all the time when I need them, also I would like to give a huge shoutout to the United States of America for giving young people like me great opportunities and many chances to be successful and achieve their dreams.
