We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, what do you attribute your success to?
I am a firm believer that Faith and Works go hand in hand. God has blessed me with the ability to use Music as my Avenue for Success and without His Guidance and the help of so many incredible people I have met on this Journey so far, from teachers, mentors, and even Clients, God has opened so many doors and used so many people to help me grow to the place I am in today.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Violinist full time! It’s incredible to see God use the Gift He gave me at Five Years Old to reach this many people and places! I have been afforded so many opportunities, including obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree from the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. Since then, I was able to come back to America and begin working in Houston, collaborating with lots of incredible artists and playing Violin in so many places! Currently, lots more is beginning to take place and I am so excited to see what the future holds. It has not been easy, as every great Testimony has a few Tests, but I thank God for His Grace through it all! I’ve learned to Lean on God and put my Best Foot Forward at all times, even when things are difficult. All things work together for the Good of them who love God and are called according to His Purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston is known for incredible vibes! There are so many amazing places to visit and go see, but I love the Museum District for a day out. The Galleria is also a great place to shop, eat, spend time.

If you are an extroverted introvert, like me, there are so many parks and restaurants to visit and try. I would look in the Downtown Area, the Heights, anywhere with character.

You can find a bit of home in every part of Houston.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church for allowing me to be part of the Incredible Ministry. God keeps adding and I am grateful for everything my church has done for me!

Shoutout to KRo Productions! My Label Family is the best and without them, things would be different for me artistically! Love y’all!
