We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my own business because I wanted to combine my passion for lashing with the freedom to create something that’s truly mine. After 4 years of experience, I knew I had the skills and dedication, but I also wanted to challenge myself and prove that I could turn my vision into reality. Building this business has not only been about making my clients feel confident and beautiful but also about showing myself that I can make things happen when I trust my abilities and work hard.

What should our readers know about your business?
No, it definitely wasn’t easy to get where I am today. At just 18, I faced a lot of battles. Life wasn’t easy as a single mother of two, but I refused to give up. I kept pushing myself, even through the toughest moments, because I wanted a better future for my children and myself. Later, with the support of my amazing husband, Luis, who not only believed in me but also helped me and my children in so many ways, I was able to start my own business. This journey has been about resilience, hard work, and showing my children that anything is possible when you stay determined and never stop believing in yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Anybody who knows me knows that my favorite place to eat is Pappadeaux’s. I also love traveling—my husband and I try to do one trip a year just for us, and one with the kiddos. Don’t get me wrong, I love going out and having fun with my partner and friends too. Life is short, and I believe in enjoying every moment to the fullest!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to take a moment to thank my husband, Luis Hernandez, for being my biggest supporter on this journey. He has been my rock, always encouraging me to chase my dreams and grow beyond my limits. Not only is he an amazing husband, but also a wonderful father, and I’m so grateful for everything he does for our family. His belief in me and his willingness to step in and help whenever I needed it has made all the difference. I couldn’t have done this without him by my side.
