We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, what role has risk played in your life or career?
As a woman, a mom, and a business owner, I knew staying comfortable wouldn’t change my life. Taking risks gave me independence, stability, and purpose. It taught me that fear doesn’t mean stop it means grow.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Over the past five years, my business has grown into something far greater than I imagined when I first started. What began as a skill I wanted to master turned into a passion that now fuels my purpose. What sets me apart is the intention and care I put into every client experience. I don’t just focus on how the lashes look, I focus on how my clients feel. I believe beauty services should be empowering, relaxing, and confidence-boosting all at once.

I’m most proud of the consistency I’ve maintained. Five years in business has required discipline, growth, and resilience. I’ve had to evolve with trends, refine my techniques, and continuously invest in my education. Becoming an instructor was a huge turning point for me because it showed me that my journey wasn’t just about personal success, but about helping other women create their own opportunities.

It hasn’t been easy. There were slow seasons, moments of doubt, financial pressure, and times when I questioned myself. But every challenge strengthened my mindset. I learned to stop comparing, to trust my pace, and to focus on long-term vision instead of short-term setbacks. Faith, consistency, and self-belief helped me push through the hard moments.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that growth happens when you’re willing to step outside of comfort. Success doesn’t come overnight. It’s built in the quiet moments when you keep showing up, even when it feels unnoticed. What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s built on purpose, resilience, and passion. I’m not just building a business I’m building impact, stability, and a legacy for my family.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To me, what makes this area fun isn’t just the places it’s the culture. Houston is diverse, loud in the best way, full of ambition, food, and creativity. You can be chill one day and outside the next. That mix is what makes it exciting.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d definitely take them to my favorite spots like Tago and Sante because those are places I’ve personally had the best time at.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to God. He has been the foundation of everything I’ve built. In moments when I doubted myself or felt like giving up, my faith reminded me that I’m never walking alone. Every risk I took, every door that opened, and even the closed ones were all part of His plan for my life. I truly believe my business is bigger than just lashes it’s purpose. God gave me the vision, the strength to keep going, and the discipline to grow. I give Him all the glory for where I am today and where I’m headed next.
