We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Greb and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, how does your business help the community?
I love that I have women come up to me and say they see my pictures and feel inspired to be sexy and confident in themselves and bodies! If I can make at least one person feel good about themselves and that they too can be sexy at any size then I feel accomplished.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always loved getting dolled up and wanted to do modeling from a very young age. I started dancing and being skilled in art from a very early age and still remains my passion. I see modeling as an art form and a way of expressing yourself so for me it’s always just have fun and try your best! I feel I’ll only get better from here because I’m so hungry to learn! I love looking up posing, lighting and learning tips and tricks from photographers and other models! I’m most happy when people see my photos and they then want to take pictures looking beautiful and feeling confident in their bodies!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You can definitely bet I’m taking my best friend to see the houston burlesque shows because I swear we have the prettiest and most talented women! We would then go to a bar like poison girl and get on the pinball games or numbers and barbs to dance the night away! I love a good dive bar like Lola’s depot, big star bar, grand prize, neihls bar and voodoo queen. Definitely stopping at cidercade or 82. I’m also a pizza and taco girl so we are going to taconazo for some tacos and love buzz for pizza! Last but not least would be all the amazing breweries like brash, st Arnold, karbach, platypus, 8th wonder, true anomaly, urban south and soooooo many others!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It really takes a village and many friends to help along the way! I started and still do call up a friend to see if they want to shoot and then we are off on an adventure! I want to personally thank Richard Ortiz, you are literally my rock and I don’t know where I’d be without you! I also want to thank Joe Clark, for always pushing me and letting me use your amazing camera. Marlon Burton for always being down to go out and shoot last minute and Ash Goss for being a muse, advice, always taking my picture and making me feel beautiful and having me fall in love with instax/film!
