We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Fain and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeremy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The two things that I attribute the success of my business and my brand are consistency and responsiveness. Just like any other practice whether it’s learning another language or a fitness journey, you must be consistent with whatever it is you’re doing in order to achieve the results you’re after. Real estate is also an industry with a large community so if you’re not available and able to help your clients when they need you they’ll be able to find someone who can pretty quickly. These aspects are quite demanding but they are quite rewarding at the same time.
What should our readers know about your business?
The old cliche, ‘nothing worth having comes easy’ comes to mind. Just like any business, in order to make something of it and to make something of yourself you basically have to immerse you life in it. Things like this are never easy and don’t come without challenges. I think trying to handle every situation with grace doesn’t go unnoticed and is another aspect that has attributed to my growing business. I would like people to know that as long as you’re genuine and not trying to be something you’re not you’ll go very far. It’s easy to pickup on someone who’s not true to themself so honor this because there is nobody else like you.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
13 Celsius is my go-to! Wine is a passion of mine and Adele and her staff are the most knowledgeable, and fun, in town. I do love Houston’s for dinner – always solid and Jennifer takes great care of us when we come in. I live right next to Eleanor Tinsley park so I would take them down to the bayou for a walk. The trails are great, people are friendly, and the skyline view is unbeatable!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Greenwood King Properties. I can’t tell you how amazingly supportive this company has been to me. The owners Julie Greenwood and Linda King, the sales managers Sandy Benson, Elaine Ellender, and Theresa Hill, the referral / relocation department Renee Eads and Dana McAlister, the contract coordinators Mary Sanderson and Amy Stevens, and the marketing team Lorraine Abercrombie, Raymond Kong, Paige Weidner, and Maureen Cantrell. They have all given so much encouragement and spirit to energize what I do and I would be nowhere near where I am now without their guidance.
