We had the good fortune of connecting with Jineen R. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jineen, what do you want your legacy to be?
Build your legacy because there are people coming behind you. Continue to let your light shine no matter how strong the opposition. Having the ability to see things as a form of growth and life lessons, allows you to take your power back and bloom where you are in that season of life! Embracing your journey, becoming your authentic self, and loving yourself genuinely are vital things that helped me level up my own Intentional Queen Journey. I wanted to be the best mother and person that I could be, which meant that I empowered myself to go on a healing journey and speak life into myself. However, I didn’t know that I was leveling up more Intentional Queens from birthing my Intentional Queen Podcast. When you change the lens of yourself, people begin to see it too! I believe that growth starts within you and especially in your mind! My topics and guests on the podcast are geared towards women’s empowerment and self-development: self-love, self-healing, and growth mindset.

In my opinion, legacy is about knowing my why and what drives me within my purpose. My why is based upon being a great mother to my son, becoming the best version of myself, and continuing my business endeavors. I believe that you can grow through what you go through. Tests can become your testimonies for somebody else. Bet on yourself! I love helping others discover the same things, which is why I became a Certified Life Coach as well. I want to break generational curses for the people coming behind me. I love Jesus and stand on the scripture Matthew 6:33- Seek God in Everything! With God, you can do anything! It’s all about your connections with people and knowing the seasons of life, so cast your net. More than anything, learning to pivot into a new direction when needed and letting go of what no longer serves you in your present time will benefit you along the way. Remember to walk in peace and evolve into your better version of yourself by trusting your metamorphosis like a butterfly. I believe the stages of becoming a butterfly are valuable learning lessons, which is why I made my Intentional Queen Journey logo a butterfly.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Intentional Queen Journey is for empowering all women to become the best versions of themselves on their self-love, self-healing, and growth mindset journey. I believe that your tests can become testimonies to help guide others. I went on my own healing journey where I was speaking life into myself. I discovered that I wanted to find an outlet that allowed me to use my voice as a platform, which is how the Intentional Queen Podcast was birthed in October of 2020. It has blossomed into a women’s empowerment movement, and I love how I am able to Life Coach on these things too. Birthing this movement was a challenge for me because I had to overcome vulnerability and the courage to speak on topics that can be private. I realized now that there were many women struggling in these same spaces all around the world. Your story may free someone else, so be open to sharing with others when you feel led. I have also been a nurse for over twenty years, so this space allows me to marry my gifts and purpose together to help others.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am always a big fan of going to scenic parks and enjoying nature. Finding a great restaurant and enjoying a good cocktail with food. Venturing into the city for some shopping and pampering time is always a way to show yourself some love.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I stand on the scripture Matthew 6:33 in the Bible- Seek God in Everything! Without God, I do not know where I would be along this journey. It is through his strength and wisdom that I was able to birth the Intentional Queen Journey. I would love to shout out my entire Intentional Queen Tribe, their support has been very valuable in the success of bringing my vision to life. I have had the privilege of empowering women all over the world, and I am so humbled by everything! I believe that iron sharpens iron!
