We had the good fortune of connecting with Jojo Trumbly and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jojo, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
My ultimate goal is to see the people and families I’ve helped along the way thrive and succeed. Currently, The NET – Level Up Networking has partnered with 58 small businesses in the North Houston area, all of which are achieving significant growth. Our plans include expanding our reach by the end of this year and introducing new teams in 2024, as well as developing larger outreach efforts to benefit our local communities and hosting various public events. I envision our network growing not just nationally but internationally as well, so we can make a positive impact on a broad range of entrepreneurs and creatives. By the end of my career, I want to leave a legacy for small business owners.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The NET – Level Up Networking is a business networking organization that focuses on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs grow through networking and professional development. What sets us apart from others is our unique approach to networking, which emphasizes building authentic relationships and collaboration among our members.

I’m most proud of the impact we’ve had on our members’ businesses. We’ve helped many businesses grow, expand their reach, and gain new customers through our networking events, workshops, and online resources. It’s truly rewarding to see our members succeed and know that we played a part in their success.

Getting to where we are today has been a challenging journey. Like any business, we faced many obstacles along the way, including building a strong member base, creating valuable content and resources, and navigating the ever-changing landscape of the business world. To overcome these challenges, we focused on building a strong team and listening to our members’ needs, and constantly adapting and improving.

What I want the world to know about The NET is that we are more than just a networking organization – we are a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about supporting and empowering one another to achieve success. Our story is a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of building meaningful relationships in business.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have a great itinerary of a weekend in Conroe, Texas! In the spirit of supporting local, I will add the names of great local businesses that are a MUST SEE/DO in Conroe, The first thing I would do is go to the Owen Theatre in Downtown Conroe and see a musical. Their shows are always a great night of theater and it is casted by people who are in our area! The next day, I would have brunch at 105 Cafe off 105! It is a beautiful quaint diner owned by Conroe natives. Then, I would hire a local fishing guide to take my family and I on a boat to go explore and fish on Lake Conroe. After, you have to go do some shopping in downtown Conroe, There are so many cute boutiques, there is an AMAZING candle shop called Almost August, a brand new boutique called “FarmHouse Famous” and a lot of other great shops that are all owned by locals. After your day of shopping, you must try all of the fabulous culinary experiences Conroe has to offer. Taste the Asian, MoCo Food Hall and The Table at Madeley just to name a few. There are beautiful hiking trails in the Sam Houston National Forest nearby that you can experience the beauty of south Texas. When you come to Conroe, if this business is owned by a local…you are guaranteed to have a great experience!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, there are several people in my life who have played a significant role in my success. My mom has always been my biggest supporter and has encouraged me to pursue my passions. She instilled in me the values of hard work, determination, and resilience, which have helped me overcome challenges and obstacles throughout my professional journey.

I also want to recognize my mentor and business coach Buddy McMahon who has helped guide and shape my professional development. His knowledge and expertise, challenged me to think outside the box, and provided me with invaluable feedback and support.

I want to recognize The Pillars (Adrian Rojas, MaryAnn Adams, Robert Green, Sarah Goedde, Deborah Inman, Paul Inman, Brandy Williams and Craig Williams) at The NET – Level Up Networking. They are a group of talented and dedicated business owners who have helped turn my vision into a reality. Without their hard work and commitment, we would not be where we are today.
