We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Reece and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joshua, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Freedom is my ultimate inspiration. I want to be able to travel where I want and spend my time how I want to spend my time. Owning a business and curating a brand is a great way for me to get closer to being totally free to live my life how I want to live it.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My personal brand and my attention to nuances in the digital marketing world is what sets To The Stars Media apart. We pride ourselves in doing the research and paying attention to details that will help increase our clients revenue via social media. I am most excited about our future, we are growing and scaling a lot faster than expected. It has taken years and years of reading, study, and observation to get my business acumen to where it is today. Most of the heavy lifting and struggle to learn about business happened before I even started mine. Once I decided to take the leap of faith and start my own company I was very well equipped. So it has been easy to start and run the company. What I want the world to know about my brand is that one thing does not define you. Being an Air Force Academy graduate and an active duty air force officer everyone would expect me to only focus on my military career, do 20 years of service and retire. But I am more than just that, I am an entrepreneur and an intellectual that wants to change the world and create generational wealth.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First and foremost I respect the COVID-19 Environment so I would tell them we will have to wait until we get vaccinated. But in a pre-covid world: I would have them Fly into Hobby Airport on a friday so they can get a view of the city from their Plane. Then we would head to pappadeux’s for happy hour. Then from there we would head to A’dor, one of my favorite bars. Saturday Morning we would go to the Breakfast Klub for good eats then we would go to Lost N Found in Midtown Saturday night we would pregame and bar hop around the bars in midtown like 77 Degrees then we would catch an uber and finish the night at Prospect Park. Sunday we would go to Grace’s for brunch, then we would spend the rest of the day at Chapman and Kirby. The perfect Htown Weekend!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this shoutout to my Dad Gerald Reece and my Mentor Mark Swist. My dad taught me at a young age that ownership is everything. He is the reason that from a young age I wanted to become a business owner. Mark, he has taught me a lot about digital marketing and his story is incredible. I would not be in this business without those two men,
