Meet Kell Wallace | Lifestyle Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kell Wallace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kell, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Family values are important to me for sure. Spending quality time with family is a great way to show them you care. Growing up my family and I always stayed connected regardless of the distance and I honestly took most of those times for granted. Time passes and you loose people at the same time so I always kept in my mind that even if you didn’t come from a close family, their all you have in the end and it also gives me an idea of how I can take care of my own one day.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am more than excited to graduate with my Masters degree sometime this year. My goal is to graduate near my mom’s expected graduation time frame because she is also studying to receive her master’s. Honestly, I didn’t expect to go into healthcare at all, my mom was a nurse so I had to see a lot that she gracefully handled whereas I am a tad bit too emotional (lol). I started college courses pretty young so I was already familiar with the process of how challenging it was going to be especially being that my major was science related. I received my first degree at 18 years old, and then continued on to now my final chapter of receiving my 4th degree! I fell in love with studying but I can’t say I will miss it when I finish however it’s definitely time for me to begin my career in Public Health so I can start helping others with various health information.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d say I would take my friend to eat at different cultural cuisines and for sure a happy hour probably everyday lol. I enjoy the simple things in life so a spa, dinner and cocktails are my speed. There’s so much that’s changed in Houston, I swear I wouldn’t know what to do im more of a go with the flow type of person even when things are planned so anything is enjoyable for me lol.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly, I have so many I could rave about the ways they have supported me and pushed me to stay on track of what I truly enjoy doing. I initially wasn’t into social media and being as friendly as I am now due to me becoming a new mom to my son. In fact, I rarely went out and had friends I pretty much stayed to myself. All in all, I started hanging with my cousin (Darian) who took me for a loop and influenced to rock out and just live life carefree. I’d definitely give her thanks for motivating me to just be myself and know that I am worthy and that there’s so much life has to enjoy.
