We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Kulture Abu and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kevin Kulture, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
Not being afraid to take risks… nothing comes from staying in one’s comfort zone.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art other than music which is my own personal outlet is truly connecting the dots between business and consumers. Figuring out the “whys, why nots and what ifs” when it comes to branding one’s art wether it be for business purposes or being a creative.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In my humble opinion Nomad Hookah is the only place to be anytime at any day of the week. It’s already ranked as one of the best or if not the best for its hookah in the city of Houston.
The curveball is the food which can definitely hang with the big dogs when it comes to cuisine.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost my father who has been an inspiration since his passing for me as well as my brothers in life and the pursuit of success.
Secondly my brothers… my only reason for not giving up… EVER.
Thirdly the Owners of Nomad Hookah Bassam & Moeed Nagra and Jonathan Rodrigues simply for seeing the potential in me that at times has been hard to see in myself.
