Hi LaCresha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind Eminent Apparel was to create an Activewear/Athleisure Brand that provides great quality apparel that fits the needs of individuals who want to look good while working out but are also fashionable to wear during leisure activities. Our customers have the flexibility of wearing our apparel from the gym to brunch.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets Eminent Apparel apart from other Activewear Brands is the quality of our apparel. Our customers know that when they purchase from us exactly what they are going to get. Great apparel that is not only great quality but also looks amazing. We are most proud of the love we have received from all over the country. From the pictures our customers share on social media in the apparel to the heart-felt reviews we receive. I am a Dance Teacher and Fitness Enthusiast who was tired of purchasing apparel that was not high-quality and looked amazing. So I began to find an answer to the question can I look good in activewear and feel great in it? After years of looking for a good mix of vendors. I finally found what I was looking for and since that day my brand has grown immensely. It was not easy at all it was a daunting task, in the beginning, to find exactly what I was looking for. Once I pinpointed my target audience it was easy to continue to provide them with exactly what they wanted. The lessons that I have learned along the way is at the beginning of any business there will be a lot of trial and error. The mistakes only make you stronger and help you narrow down your focus on what is most important. I want the world to know that Eminent Apparel is everything to me and I take it very seriously. I will never sell apparel that I wouldn’t wear or won’t stand 100% behind.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to my favorite local bar 5015. The atmosphere is unmatched and you are guaranteed to have some great food, drinks, and an amazing time.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to all my family, friends, and customers who have supported us during the beginning stages. You all have provided love, support, and feedback that has helped us to provide great apparel but also the ability to know exactly what our customers want.
