We had the good fortune of connecting with Leah Faul and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Initially, I started my business as a technician who understood how to drive, create, and execute business growth and digital strategy. Upon success doing that, it came time to scale. That’s when I realized there is so much more to running a business than just understanding your trade. At that point is when my personal growth and entrepreneurial journey really began. With the support of mentors and fellow business owners I have learned so much in the area of business in the last 5 years. I’m immensely grateful.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I founded my company 15000 Cubits 5 years ago. Our team has grown to over 10 specialized digital marketing professionals. We do everything with purpose and heart tied back to our organizational value system. We all take ownership to lead the development of our existence as a company. Our team aims to disrupt industry norms found in most marketing agencies. We remove the smoke and mirrors by opening up our processes, ways, steps, and work to our clients. We educate rather than hold our strategies and knowledge close. We make reports and analysis make sense. And we always hit deadlines.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would make sure that I took my friend to some of the amazing restaurants Houston has, like Brenners. I would also try to take them bike riding down the bayou or out to our beautiful Galleria mall.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank my husband for making my entrepreneurial dream a possibility and reality. Without his stability, faith, and support 15000 Cubits wouldn’t have happened.
