We had the good fortune of connecting with Lexi Reed and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lexi, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
My favorite is “its not about the weight you lose but the life that you gain” because losing weight didn’t mean it would make me happy but the experiences did that make me feel like I was living not just existing.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started documenting my weightloss journey im 2016 and social media helped me to show others its possible. Eventually I was able to collaborate with brands, host weightloss challenges, sell merchandise and more. What i learned along the way is the money doesn’t matter but helping people does.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in Indiana there’s not many places to go for the best time ever but probably somewhere that we could still stay healthy and get a workout or hike in. A great place to go is our local state park called Turkey Run state park to explore and have great memories with our favorite people and even bring healthy snacks of our own.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Id like to shout out my husband Danny as we got together in 2016 when I was 16 and he has loved me no matter what size and married me in 2015 + joined me in losing weight. Even in 2021 he is my favorite person and has always loved me no matter what size!
