Hi Lisa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My decision to start my own business was deeply rooted in my personal experiences and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. As a single mother at 19, I navigated through various roles and challenges, each contributing to my growth and resilience. Through it all, my drive to support and uplift others remained unwavering.

Having experienced my own struggles with self-doubt and confusion, I recognized the transformative power of kindness and guidance in overcoming obstacles. This realization fueled my passion to create a space where women could find support, inspiration, and tools to navigate their own journeys towards fulfillment.

With a deep sense of gratitude for the lessons life has taught me, and a commitment to paying it forward, I embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship. My goal was to build a community where women could come together to explore personal growth, discover their potential, and live more intentionally.

Every aspect of my business was shaped by the belief that we are meant to thrive in community, and that together, we can achieve far more than we ever could alone. I wanted to create a platform that not only offered valuable resources and guidance but also fostered a sense of belonging and empowerment.

Ultimately, my thought process behind starting my own business was driven by a desire to make a positive impact, to create a space where women could feel supported, inspired, and empowered to live their best lives.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well, my work is all about creating this awesome community for women through my mentorship program. What makes us stand out is how we’re all about not just personal development, but also building these genuine connections and making everyone feel like they belong and are empowered.

I gotta say, what really gets me going is seeing the impact we have on the women in our community. It’s so cool to watch them grow, support each other, and just really thrive.

Now, getting to where I am today? Definitely not a walk in the park. Had my fair share of challenges, doubts, you name it. But with some serious perseverance, a bit of resilience, and a whole lot of support from my mentors, friends and crew, I’ve managed to keep pushing forward.

One big lesson I’ve learned? Surround yourself with people who’ve got your back. Building a business isn’t easy, but having that strong support system makes all the difference.

So, what do I want the world to know about us? We’re all about empowering women to live their best lives. We’re here to provide a chill, welcoming space where everyone can come together, lift each other up, and just be their awesome selves. It’s all about community, connection, and helping each other shine.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Absolutely!!! I love having my friends visit and leave it open for places they may want to experience because there is so much to do in downtown Nashville!!!!

One of the must haves is brunch at Biscuit Love and to see the lights, sound and music at the Broadway honky-tonks!! The Gulch and Music Row have some incredible shopping as well as touring the RCA Studio B. If tours are their thing we would check out Belle Meade Plantation, Cheekwood Estate & Gardens, Frist Art Museum, Centennial Park and the Parthenon. Another great breakfast spot will be at Pancake Pantry before headed off to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere and dinner at Rolf and Daughters. And last, but certainly not least a tour at Johnny Cash Museum and the Ryman Auditorium!!! Even our airport has incredible restaurants to enjoy!!!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship and support I’ve received from Danelle Delgado. Her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering belief in my potential have been instrumental in shaping both my personal and professional journey.

I also want to dedicate this shoutout to the incredible community of women who have joined me on this journey. Their courage, vulnerability, and commitment to growth inspire me every day. Together, we’ve created a safe and empowering space where women can come together to support, encourage, and uplift one another.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge the countless mentors, teachers, authors, and thought leaders whose wisdom and insights have enriched my life and contributed to my growth. Their teachings continue to inspire me to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
