Meet Zarah Bhader | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zarah Bhader and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zarah, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born in Karachi, Pakistan and moved to Houston, tx in 1997. Most of my childhood memories are of me being raised in southwest houston. Not the best place in town to be raised but it was home. I was always adapting to my environment because i had to change schools a couple of times growing up.

Because of this I made so many friends everywhere I went. I became talkative and a people person! Which helped me become the person I am today ,specially in my new career as a Realtor.

What should our readers know about your business?
I was in the medical field for the past 10 years and then the pandemic hit leaving me jobless and just the thought of a dream I had many years ago of being a “glorified” realtor. Little did I know this was the time to get my dream going.

Unemployed after a decade, not knowing what to do with all my free time I started working on my health and my wealth! I thought once I got my real estate license life would be easy and the money would come flowing in. Then reality hit. I was no longer having a steady income come in every two weeks. I had to work hard and volunteer my time till I started getting clientele and started to make deals. Just wanted the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life but it is so fulfilling and gives me such a strong purpose to keep going! Now I’m everyone’s realtor bestie!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Coming into town?! We are definitely taking a day trip to NASA! And it’s Houston,TX -the weather is always hot so let’s hop in and drive down to Galveston about an hour away and enjoy the beach! Dinner time will be our favorite! Should we start at the locations with plenty of food trucks or are we going have a fancy dinner or are we just gonna grab something in the drive-thru? We have so many options when it comes to great food where do i start?! After dinner we usually go to some relaxing hookah lounges that also offer great food and drinks all night! Maryz on Washington is one of my favs! And of course no good trip to Houston is fun without my favorite place to shop which is the Galleria mall!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family ofcourse have been my biggest supporters but My brother in law has been a guiding light through my whole career process from day 1! As well as all the wonderful realtors i have met along my journey.
