We had the good fortune of connecting with Lyndon Jamez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lyndon, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Growing up we both loved singing, acting, and most things creative. It was only right to follow our natural passions. We made a decision to do what we love the most which is music and helping others. That’s how we birthed RM8 Studios.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets us apart would have to be the fact that we are apart of the LGBTQ+ community and we don’t shy away from that. We love to sing about real situations which makes us relatable no matter who you are. We are proud to have debuted at #12 on the R&B iTunes Charts for our EP Boyz Next Door. Also we are excited to work with other artist for as vocal producing, writing, creative directing, and overall just bring the best out of the artist that trust RM8 Studios to help. It hasn’t been easy getting to where we are now, but creating a plan, deadlines, and believing in what we have as artist played a big part in moving forward. We’ve learned so much on this journey. Make sure you do your research before you start anything you want to do and don’t be afraid to reach out to people that have already done what you want to do. We want the world to know that we are just getting started and when you think of RM8 think good quality music, encouragement, and a little fun.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would take them to the Galleria Mall for sure. We usually like to keep it simple, so we would just hit the city and try new restaurants and wherever we hear live music. Also it’s just nice to drive around and take in the beautiful scenery.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to shoutout and thank our family and close friends that have shown their support. As artist it’s not easy, but it’s a beautiful feeling to have the people we love in our life show up for us. Also we want to shoutout the Chasing Reality web series brand for highlighting our talent and business to an amazing audience.
