We had the good fortune of connecting with Lynn Miano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lynn, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Making time to do something creative has been the biggest habit change that has helped my business grow. Constantly being inspired and creating new products keeps things fresh for my business and my personal growth.

What should our readers know about your business?
I had been bouncing around the idea of starting my own business for a while until I had the encouragement to just go for it! I am so glad I took that leap. My business has not only helped me personally grow but I love being able to help even in the smallest creative way. In doing so I have helped other friends find the confidence to do the same. Supporting and inspiring others is my main goal and I am so happy to be able to do so.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
When I am not slinging paper products, I am slinging drinks. I also bartend at two amazing bars. Poison Girl Bar and Little Dipper Bar. Covid has led us to make some adjustments but that hasn’t stopped us from staying in business. My owners own two great coffee spots, also. Black Hole is located in the Montrose area and Antidote is located in the heights. For great to go bites La fendee in the Montrose area is my favorite locally owned meditteranean food spot. Two Headed Dog in midtown has great to go drinks and snacks as well!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Houston creative scene has constantly been the best support through out my journey as a small business owner. The local creatives are so important in every step I have taken through out the two years for my own personal business. They help guide and encourage me everyday!
