We had the good fortune of connecting with Macey Charboneau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Macey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always described myself as having many interests, so when I graduated college I knew I wanted to do something that could somehow combine all of them. I also love to help others and see their ideas come to life, so creating ELEVATE by macey was the perfect catch all.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I describe my business as “a new consulting experience to elevate your business or lifestyle”, and as I have grown, that couldn’t be more true. The services I offer include: web design and management, personal styling and wardrobe organization, branding and social media management. interior design services and product sourcing. With this wide array of areas of expertise, I have a vast creative perspective on any service. Additionally, you get a personal touch on any project that you wouldn’t get at other larger agencies. I am a small business and I love helping create other’s small to medium scale projects come alive and flourish.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe most of my love for creating to the best boss [and friend] I have ever had, Hope Cavell. She has always pushed me to do the hard things and find my own creative voice. And I have always tried to mirror her kick ass work ethic. I am endlessly appreciative of her constant encouragement in my life no matter what! Other than her, my close friends and family wold support me in any adventure I go on. Having people like that on your team makes trying new things pretty dang fun, and way less scary.
