We had the good fortune of connecting with Martina Hubbard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Martina, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have honestly always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but never knew exactly where to start. I have always enjoyed piecing items together and the latest fashion and wanted to start a business where every woman was able to express herself in her clothing. After I had my son in May of 2020, it motivated me even more to take the leap and start my own business paving for a financial freedom. Seeing the amount of support over the timeframe since starting, has pushed me to continue my business and customer base and keep growing. My vision and mission is to display and create something different than the average boutiques and encourage people to be unique. I hope to one day leave a mark and expand my brand further in the future.
 
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Food places would definitely be the Turkey Leg Hut, Pappadeaux, and Lucille’s. The galleria to shop around and Downtown Houston is always a great vibe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my son and support system. They have motivated me throughout this whole process and starting this journey of entrepreneurship. And to the people that support from a distance as well. The amount of love that people show my business is never unnoticed.
