We had the good fortune of connecting with Michari and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michari, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want people to remember that I was here. I’m very much an introvert, but a dope artist. I have so many ideas in my head, and I like to take time to come up with something great.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an artist with a focus on music. I’ve dabbled in acting, stageplays, screenwriting etc. I believe my purpose on this earth is to create art. I got my degree in film and a minored in music. Being an artist with so many gifts under this one umbrella, it’s really been hard for to focus just on one thing. So in this current season, it’s music. I want the world to know that Michari creates. Period. I may be shy and I may not promote myself as I should but I create and I think I’m pretty dope at it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest, I don’t get out. I’m such a hermit crab lol. I’m very much an introvert and don’t want to be bothered with outside lol. But I’ll go if people drag me out the house. But The Turkey Leg Hut is always a must, Breakfast Klub, Graces, Fat Crab and spotlight karaoke

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my cousin Carl aka Eggie. I don’t know if I’m supposed to say the family nick name but he’ will be fine lol. He was the first person who introduced me to this industry. My first studio session was with him, and I can remember it like it was yesterday. I had to be 13 years old, 12 maybe. I was so excited and nervous to sing but I’m so grateful for that exposure.
