Hi Monet, how does your business help the community?
My business helps the community and the world by providing hope and inspiration to people of all ages through our music and arts education programs. We offer piano, voice, bass, and drum lessons as well as edutainment shows for young children with motivational messages to promote self-esteem and mental health awareness.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our mission is to provide a multicultural music curriculum with resources that teach children the fundamentals of music and addresses the needs of music in early childhood education. We also support musicians of all ages and stages with conservatory-level private and group instruction. Our inspirational internet radio station The H.O.I. Network (The House Of Inspiration) provides uplifting music from various genres to our listeners with the hopes of providing a better experience of musical enjoyment. We believe our virtual music shows for kids sets us apart from others because it’s different from the norm yet full of excitement and bursting with energy with upbeat music, motivational messages, singing, dancing, and storytelling. Although it hasn’t been easy, I am most proud of these shows because it reaches children from all over the world via the internet. Some of our challenges have been getting the word out to schools and families with limited resources. Financing a promotional campaign can be costly but with a strong background in faith and perseverance, I have been able to secure the right team to help with public relations and social media. Having my own business has taught me many lessons along the way of not quitting when things look as if nothing is happening. It has taught me to have patience with myself and others. Thinking of what I’d like the world to know about me makes me think of hope. I have hope and determination. I am an overcomer and believe that all things are possible for those that wait, and not afraid to ask for help. My brand is who I am and that is to inspire and captivate the hearts of many with love, kindness, and respect.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my best friend to dinner at Magiannos and a show afterward at one of our venues that house theater, dance, or music shows. I am a lover of the spa so we would definitely go to be pampered from head to toe. The museums are some of the finest places to visit. This would be one of our stops to learn more about our city and history.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes. I would like to dedicate my shout-out to my mother, Costellar Ledbetter. She is influential in my life for her support throughout the years from taking me to piano and voice lessons as a young girl as well as being at my performances. Watching her as a community leader, teacher, and business owner prepared me to pursue my dreams and never give up She encouraged me to pursue college, start my own business and use my gifts to pay it forward. Most importantly, she taught me to have faith and be strong through all situations and distractions that may come up to deter one from reaching your goals.
