Hi Morgan, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is actually a bible verse. Psalms 46:5, “God is within her, she will not fail”. To me, this means that along my journey, I may run into obstacles that may discourage me but God will always be there to pick me up when I fall. I like this verse because it reminds me that keeping God first is important on every journey we go on.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Growing up around people who would often shame me for my natural hair, I never felt confident in my coils. It took for me to learn how to care for my natural hair in order for me to feel confident enough to wear my hair in public. This was the reason I created Forever Audri. Forever Audri was started with a mission of helping women with textured hair, rock their coils with confidence through empowerment, education, and confidence-boosting hair products. For the girls and women who were like me. My goal is to change the way the world sees natural hair. It isn’t unkept, unprofessional, or nappy. It’s beautiful, confident, versatile, and bold!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Houston, the first place we would go is Seismique so we could shoot some fun content because business is life lol. After, we would probably go to the Turkey Leg Hut for some fun music, vibes, and amazing food. Going out to eat is our favorite thing to do so food places would be on our list every day such as Esters. I would also love to take her to a Selfie Museum and to do Escape Rooms.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my mentor Melody Bockelman with Private Label Insider. I found her through a social media platform called Club House. I would have never thought that a mentor would help me take my business to the next level but connecting with her has changed my life. She taught me many things about beauty businesses and connected me with many other individuals that helped me get my business to where it is today. I would also like to shout out my biggest supporter, my mother, Crystal Houston. She motivates me to keep going no matter what and picks me up whenever I fall. Without her, I would not be the woman that I am today.
