We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Tabban and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am from a small town in Venezuela named Coro, where everything started. When I was just 14 years old I found out that being part of the beauty industry was something that I really wanted to do, so I started preparing for it and the same year I started doing makeup for weddings and quinceañeras. From there everything was about preparation and creating my style. In 2017 a month before I moved to the USA I took a basic eyebrow course to expand what I already knew. Eyebrows and makeup go hand by hand. When I arrived to Houston Texas I started working in a hair salon and there one day the opportunity of doing eyebrows appeared and I took it. From that moment Nadia Isabel Studio started growing in my mind and in my life. My small town was the place that opened all these doors for me where everything started and led to the person that I am today, a makeup artist and eyebrow specialist.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I really love what I do, and I think what sets me apart from others is that I do everything with a lot of passion. I am super proud of what I have achieved until now and what is in the future for Nadia Isabel Studio. The road to where I am today has not been easy, I have had so many bumps but I have been able to overcome all of them thanks to God and the help of great people that I have by my side. I have learned that with passion and conviction for what you do you will be able to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. I would like the world to know that I am here to make my clients happy and that customer service is our priority, so make my customer conformable for the time that they are in my studio if the main thing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is a great question, the first place that I will I take them will be the Houston Zoo, I love to be outside and I think that is one of the best spot in town, them I would love to have lunch with them in Pane e Vino located in Cinco Ranch, Katy a small but amazing Italian restaurant with the best food that I have ever taste. To end the day with a good dessert I would take them to Amorino, which is a great ice cream store with the best gelato in the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This is a question that goes directly to my heart, there are some people that I would love to thank and that I am grateful for and what they represent in my short career. The first one in this list has to be God with him by my side. I knew since the beginning that every door that I needed would open for me. Then my parents for always believe in me and be by my side trusting that everything will be alright. My husband that is one of my biggest supporters, for always having my back and helping with everything related to the studio. Maylo and Cristiano Martins for believing in me, and helping me during this road. They are some of my main support systems and I will be grateful to them always. And last but not least my team, those girls that by my side are the heart and soul of Nadia Isabel Studio.
