Hi Naglaa’, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business is as I began planning and mapping out my business all I could think about is financial freedom and generational wealth! I come from a family where no one has their own business or just simply anything to pass down for generations to have financial stability/freedom. I wanted to start multiple businesses, so whichever one takes off first, will help me invest into all the other ones!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a music artist coming out of Chicago I’m. I sing and rap about my personal experiences and second hand experiences. My music is very versatile and I truly enjoy listening to different beats, catching the vibes, and writing exactly what I’m feeling inside. I suffer from depression and anxiety so I like to make music touching on these topics to motivate others to not stay in those dark places! I’ve noticed majority of my feelings are being felt by people who are going through the same thing, if not very similar to my own situation. I speak a lot on Mental Health and God. I feel like I got to where I am today all because of God, the journey has not been easy at all. But when I am being put through trials and tribulations, I have been finding a strength within myself that has been building me up tremendously! In every aspect!! I overcome everything with prayer and motivation to keep going. The prayer and motivation have to be WITHIN YOU to keep going! If I wake up everyday, it’s a reason I am still breathing! I will find the blessing or lesson in everything I go through, good or bad!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting my city, I would love to take her to some popular food spots in chicago! Who doesn’t love a good meal! I love Harold’s Chicken with mild sauce and lemon pepper, Giordano’s deep dish pizza is a hit, and Portillo’s Italian Beef! We could go bowling at Lucky Strikes or hit up Top Golf! Sometimes I like being a BIG KID and going to places like Sky Zone or Urban Air! We could stay in a nice hotel like the London House Chicago and even hit up some bars/venues like The Wild Hare& Singing Armadillo! Some more iconic Chicago places would be to go check out The Bean & take some pics! Get on a Booze Cruise downtown Chicago, or even go to Navy Pier!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to make a huge shout out to my father. He has been on my side and helped me out, mentally, physically, and financially through every endeavor I have encountered! He plays a major role in my story. My fiancé is another person who plays a major role in my story, he is one of the best, most efficient pieces of my story and my support system. He is also a great partner to help motivate me in all I am doing, and vice versa! I also would like to shout out all the up and coming entrepreneurs I am around daily! We are taking risks, building connections, empowering our people, and bussing down doors making a way for us and our families!! GOD BLESS AND SALUTE TO ALL OF YOU! WE up next!
