Hi Nohemi, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Hey my name is Nohemi. I was born in Panama & raised in Brooklyn NY. In May 1993 I was 3 years old when I came to the US along with my mother & brother . My dad had already came & was getting everything situated for us . I would like to think that my background & upbringing impacted every part of who I am today. Growing up I was fortunate enough to have amazing supportive & loving parents . I would say my childhood was very normal my parents weren’t as strict but they were so protective , grew up going to church every Friday night & Sunday morning. I was really involved in church, my faith in God has impacted my life and has made me the person I am today. Im grateful my parents taught us about God, integrity, being humble and so much more at a young age . As a kids I was always involved in Music & all sorts of activities that impacted my life in a positive way. But I grew up to be very shy & till this day I still believe Im a shy person but very outgoing once I’m comfortable . When I came to the US I had to learn English since Spanish is my first language wasn’t really a struggle for me since since at that age your still learning how to speak lol, but growing up in New York has been life changing. I have a background that makes me strive greatness. Very Thankful for all the sacrifices my parents have gone through for us to live this life . Now I’m currently living in Houston Texas since 2017 Im married & have my own family So I hope to be a great example to my child . I believe everyone has a story and Im glad I was able to share a bit on here today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well I’ve been doing makeup for a few years now I created a YouTube channel where I did tutorials & also Vlogged my life.. Im still passionate about that but Im also into Fashion I Love every bit of putting an outfit together & creating content for Instagram. Ive been fortunate enough to work with different brands & hope to continue getting collabs. I believe what’s sets me apart from other is that I’m open to trying new things Im open to being unique. What I’m most proud of at the moment are the goals I’m setting for myself and the things I will accomplish in due time. The lesson I’ve learn along the way 1) Don’t settle for less. 2) Your comfort zone is your enemy 3)Don’t tell your plans to anyone till they’re actually happening. 4) Stop procrastinating 5)your thoughts are powerful so make them positive 6) There’s no shame in not knowing. I want the world to know that the best is yet to come , dream big , Keep being consistent & work hard.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I still consider myself fairly new to Houston but We’re booking a room at a hotel either downtown houston or somewhere near the galleria . We’ll start off by going to Pappadeaux because that my favorite lol. For appetizers we can get crab & spinach dip for entree either stuffed shrimp or shrimp & grits or shrimp brochette yummmm. Then we’ll go to the either a museum or something like the color factory to take some dope pictures for Instagram . Then at night we could go to different spots in downtown Houston..
