Meet Odette Bogan | Co-Founder – My Go2 Store

We had the good fortune of connecting with Odette Bogan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Odette, how did you come up with the idea for your business?

As everybody knows, an event happens in the world, a life changing “event”. Taking a few deep breaths…a moments of self-consciousness, and some nights talking with our pillow (haha), In 2020, the year that marked us with a new challenge, that made us realizes that we only have one life; to change, to improve, to love, that we are creative and we have hands that create beautiful things that can make us feel more beautiful, powerful and chic!!!

What should our readers know about your business?
It was a work of passion so the obstacles were not as difficult to over come. By making the jewelry for us, we could enjoy the process and every little sale was a little reassurance that others will and do like our style as well.

We do not get discuraged too easily because we love the style of jewelry that we make. We enjoy the experience of talking with people about jewelry to keep our style moving forward. The last lesson that we feel is very important is, as long as we stay positive and enjoy making and wearing the jewelry then the time and effort for this adventure is worth every moment.

All the jewelry is made with passion and we encourage people to enjoy the jewelry and make a statement with My Go2 Store. We are 3 sisters that take pleasure in seeing people happy, whether it is the jewelry they are wearing or the sunset that brings them joy. My Go2 Store is committed to making people feel good about themselves as well as being happy inside and out. Wear the jewelry with love and help spread love and happiness with the jewelry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First day here, take them to a nice little casual dinner to get started. Somewhere like Fogo de Chao. We would probably take it easy and just have some drinks at home to catch up some more.
Day two – Maybe start off with a nice walk at Herman Park in the morning before it gets to hot. Then off to get a light lunch at any of the restaurants at City Center. Dinner we head over to Davanti for drinks on the patio and good Italian food.
Day three – Start off again with another walk at Memorial Park. Head to another nice eatery at Uptown Park. For the evening we could go to River Oaks and get a nice bite to eat while shopping or just looking.
Day four – Head out for brunch at The Rustic to get the morning going. We then would got to Sugar Land Town Center to explore and catch a light late lunch. For dinner we would head over to Montrose and eat at BCN. Excellent Spanish food.
