We had the good fortune of connecting with Olajuwon Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Olajuwon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was to first figure out what would be my product that to sale to public. Once I figured out that the knowledge and skills that I’ve learn over my 15 years of law enforcement would be the product, I formulated a business plan and put it to action.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

How did you get to where you are today business-wise: I took my skills, experience, and knowledge and offered it to public. Coming from and educational family, teaching is just in my bloodline. Teaching is the easy part, learning to market and run all aspects of a business has it’s challenges. To help over coming some of the challenges, I’ve surrounded myself with other business professionals to gain knowledge from other great business minds. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned on this journey, Is always remain true to who you are but never be afraid to grow.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’ve been lucky to visit many places throughout my career. I have visited Gabon, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Libera, India, and many other countries. I think my favorite would be St. Lucia, Panama and Paris France. I really enjoyed the history and architecture of Paris, the water and beauty of St. Lucia, and the culture of Panama.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife Tye Davis, she has help guide, and encourage me along this business journey. Also Trisha Lacoste, Nichole Handy of Braden Real Estate Group, and Billyssia Pierce of Bee Fit Solutions have all inspired me.
