We had the good fortune of connecting with Pierre Beasley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Pierre, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
How could I turn my passion into profit and help others achieve their goals as well. So starting my own fitness training company was the fulfillment I was yearning for. It’s been extremely successful so far.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
For the past 10 years, I’ve had a successful career as a Project Manager in the oil and gas industry. Recently, I accepted a role as a Project Manager for a minority owned consulting firm. I’m extremely excited about the new opportunity. The new role provides more freedom to continue my training service. Being a former collegiate athlete, I pull from the lessons taught by former coaches. Discipline, mental toughness, accountability. All of which help me remain focus on my goals. I’ve always been known as a motivator, leader which is expressed when needing to push my clients to their maximum potential.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Food- Pappadeaux, Turkey Leg Hut, Mastos, Bisou, Eddie V’s, BB’s Cafe, Boiling Crab Social- Rockets/Astros/Texans game- KAMP, Seaside, Lost and Found, Prospect Park, Cle’ Tourism- Museums, Galveston, Lake Houston/Conroe, Kemah Boardwalk
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents deserve most of the credit for my success. They’ve made sacrifices throughout the years to make sure my sister and I were placed in the situations to succeed. They held us accountable for our actions and made sure we stayed on the right path. Their support was always there whenever needed.
