Meet Rain Stewart | Content Creator & Social Media Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rain Stewart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rain, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I decided to pursue a career in a creative space because I found love and enjoyment in content creation. Throughout High School I never had the desire to become my own boss, I was more interested in the more traditional route of going to school, getting my degree, and working for a major company in the future. But after moving to New York City and seeing people with the lifestyle I thought I wanted, I quickly realized it was no longer my goal. By pursing Content Creation as a career I have found myself tapping into a different sides of myself that challenge me every single day.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I began content creation in April 2020 when I started my YouTube channel. I started off by creating pretty general content about my everyday life. Then in June I posted a video with my guy friends which is the video that brought a lot of views to channel and where a lot of my supporter came from. This gave me the boost I needed, but now I’m actually trying to shift my content into lifestyle & fashion which is pretty difficult considering majority of the people supporting me came to my channel for fun laughs with my male friends. Within this creative process I have learned that you have to create content that you are happy and satisfied with producing in order to enjoy what your putting out and the support and opportunities will follow. I also wanted to expand my brand into something more than content creating and influencing but also digital marketing which I have working on a lot this year and plan on expanding next year.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Houston is filled with so so many gems! Some places I would recommend checking out are: – Houston’s (Hillstone)
– Abouzy
– Picnic in Buffalo Bayou Park
– The Menil Collection
– River Oaks District
– Houston Fine Arts Museum
– Galleria
– Ice skating in Discovery Green

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person that contributes tremendously to my success is my mom. Growing up my mom taught me that there is nothing out of my reach and that anything I want I can have. My mom has also supported and contributed to every dream of mine even when it seems unattainable.
