We had the good fortune of connecting with Rashawn Shephard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rashawn, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
I would say this is not for the weak. You will have good days and bad days but the key is to always keep pushing remain humble and know that whatever you pour out will come back 10 fold
What should our readers know about your business?
I have a seasoning line I created called Shep’s Flavor Station. My last name is Shephard and I have been called shep for years by childhood friends. So that part was easy. Good friend of mine help come up with flavor station because my seasonings are flavorful. I’m most excited because I enjoy cooking. So to have my own line of seasoning is a huge milestone. As I see on a day to day basis. You may start off. Business booming and then a dry spell hits. Just keep pushing your brand it will pick back up.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To my daughters. Faith Mia. Camille and my Prince in the sky. And to all those who believed in me and saw something in me I didn’t see in myself at the time
