Meet Ray Litt | Change Architect & Tech Sales

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ray Litt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ray, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
My decision to follow Christ! Such richness found in his love, what kindness I have been given, if not for him I would have undoubtedly been another statistic. Yet eye has not seen ear has not heard nor has entered the heart of man what God has in store for those who love him.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
A little bit about me I work at one of the big 5 Tech companies Dell Technologies. My role here is Tech Datacenter Sales, so that includes servers, networking, storage based solutions.

How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

My bumpy ride to better story began growing up on the poor south side of Houston. Society educators quickly told me what I was capable of what (my limits were). I recall when my 7th-grade teacher to embarass me asked me to stand up and read a Shakespeare passage aloud my greatest fear at the time as public speaking. After fumbling thru it for about 5 minutes he stops me abruptly looks at me and said, ” Someone has to flips fires at McDonalds. Fortunately God had other plans. Today, I have a studied Civil Engineering at Texas Southern University where I was Vice President of the American Association of Environmental Engineering Student Chapter and landed my dream job at Dell Technologies as a Corporate Technical Solution Advisor.

We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about.

What sets me apart from others really is God, he instilled in me the will to win! I am grateful to look and see what beauty he has done with ashes and look to encourage others to not give up when the road seems dark and unsure. YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH, BRAVE ENOUGH AND COMPETENT!

What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

I want the world to know that even though you may be going thru it right now, lights cut off, student loans challenges from every angle. There is still hope today can seem bleak and not very hopeful but God can always turn things around for your GOOD! STAY IN THE FIGHT

Thank you since receiving mentorship from these individuals , my outlook on life has changed in fundamental ways. I have become more self-aware, confident, and resilient in both my personal and professional life. Through their guidance and support, I have learned the importance of setting goals, embracing challenges, and cultivating a growth mindset.

I have also developed a greater appreciation for the power of positive relationships and the value of collaboration. My mentors have taught me the importance of building strong networks and seeking out diverse perspectives to enhance my understanding of different topics and issues.

In addition, their mentorship has helped me prioritize my values and focus on what truly matters in life. I have learned to be more mindful and present, to embrace ambiguity and uncertainty, and to stay grounded in the face of challenges and setbacks.

Overall, the mentorship I have received has been transformative, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from such wise and compassionate individuals such a as Adam Glick,Jennifer Savioa , Chris Kolhum. I feel more equipped than ever to tackle whatever challenges may come my way and to pursue my dreams with confidence and purpose.
