Meet Rehanna Stultz | Owner & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist- Wildflower Physical Therapy

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rehanna Stultz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rehanna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The main drive for starting my own business was honestly from burnout. I was working in an insurance based clinic where the caseload was 52 patients a week for 45 minute slots. I was commuting back and forth for over an hour and not getting to spend time with my family. I was also doing networking and marketing for a satellite clinic that I was operating out of. I thought to myself, “If I can market for this bigger company, why am I not doing this for myself?” With a big caseload like what was expected (which is necessary for a clinic to run due to insurance reimbursement) I was getting burnt out with my job and honestly I was not being the best clinician I could be, nor the best mom or wife. I followed a pelvic floor physical therapy entrepreneur group and a physical therapy entrepreneur group through Facebook for about a year or two while I was working just to learn if it would be something I was interested in. I was constantly exposed to posts about everything from laws to marketing to scheduling platforms. After my third child was born and I went on maternity leave, I decided to think more seriously about working for myself and starting my own practice. We then moved from the Austin area to College Station and that was a perfect time to begin my own business.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a pelvic floor physical therapist. Not many people are familiar with my specialty and part of the joy of starting my own business was to get involved with the community. Part of my mission with Wildflower Physical Therapy is to have monthly engagement with the community through speaking engagements, workshops, etc. Many people who are familiar with pelvic floor physical therapy think that it is only for women and that is not the case. I see men and pediatric clients for pelvic floor dysfunction which is also not very common in the field. Currently I am the only provider in the area that sees pediatric clients for pelvic floor physical therapy and one of two that sees male clients. The whole process of becoming a pelvic floor physical therapist was not easy and still isn’t with the various systems that we have to be familiar with. Not only do I have to be a rehabilitation specialist, but I have to be familiar with fields like OBGYN, Urology, Gastrointestinal, and Colorectal. I think the biggest thing to overcome is that I will not have the answers to everything and that is ok. If I have a client that has an impairment or symptom that I am not sure about, I will make sure to let them know that even though I am not familiar, I will most definitely try to get an answer. A big problem in our healthcare system is that its lost the care part of it. I try really hard to be easily available and accessible to my patients and I spend at least 60 minutes one on one time with them during their appointment. I want the world to know that Wildflower Physical Therapy truly does care about both clients and the community. It is so important to me to spread the word to people that a service like this helps people with conditions that they didn’t know they could have help for. I would love for it to be a standard thing in the community for people to not have to suffer with pelvic floor issues because they know that there is an answer for it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my husband, Adam. We found out a couple of weeks after we got married that I got into Physical Therapy school and would start in about two weeks (which was a week after we got back from our honeymoon!). He worked hard during the 4 years of my doctoral program and when I had my first two children while in physical therapy school he was a great support for me in all aspects. Fast forward to 2025, he has been very encouraging with starting my own business and with no hesitation was all in.
