We had the good fortune of connecting with Renita Ridley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renita, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As a young girl I’ve ALWAYS wanted to have my own buisness and that’s something as I became older I’ve always talked about. The thought process wasn’t hard for me because I knew what I wanted, it was being in the position to be able to do so. I put myself in some positions to where I couldn’t totally focus on ME and that’s what took me so long, but I say that and then I think about well, God placed me here at the most perfect time! I’m focused, I’ve matured, my kids are older and in a place to understand and see the things I am doing. I helped others so much with their businesses when it came to creating websites for them or coming up with ideas to advertisement or whatever it was when i wasn’t doing that for myself. So now, I’m barely even getting started lol. My partner has been helping me and showing me the ins and outs to running a buisness and I’m also showing him different ways, so it works out. He has been a Auto Detailer for 10yrs, a lot may know him from his former mobile company “On the Spot Detail”, well now, we have created, “Next Level Car Care” located at the Edison Plaza in Beaumont, Tx.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Next Level Car Care specializes in ceramic coating, upholstery shampoos, scratch removal, paint correction, leather treatments, and more. Doing the work is easy, getting the work is all on YOU! Meaning, if you don’t put yourself out there then who’s going to know you exist? Spend time content creating. Take pictures, record videos, go live on social media, make flyers/buisness cards and deliver them to different businesses and tell a little about your services. Running a buisness takes works, that’s what I have learned! Professionalism, taking accountability. You have to provide a service that will keep people coming back. However you may have things setup, you or your manager should always be ready for your customers with great energy and a smile. It will be days where you may not have sold one item, it will be days when your phone may not ring but YOU still have to WORK. My story and my brand is simple….Hard work and dedication pays off! Never give up! It’s been days that my spouse and I have wanted to, but guess what, you have to keep pushing!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Landlords for a daiquiri, hookah and a nice vibe. For a more upscale grown and sexy type setting The Humidor Cigar Lounge is also a nice spot. Opulence is another place that has a nice brunch menu! These places are located in Port Arthur, Tx.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am definitely going to recognize the person behind the scenes who does all the dirty work while I sit back, look cute and make sure everything is taken care of lol! When it comes to Auto Detailing, he doesn’t call himself the “Detail Goat” for no reason! He really has a passion for detailing and that was passed down to him from his father. He is sponsored by one of the best known companies, Nano Pro and I applaud him for how far he has come since we’ve met.
