Meet Sarah Dollente | BSN RN, NP Student, ICU Nurse, Nurse Injector and Owner of Lily Pad Aesthetics

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Dollente and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I think the biggest things I can instill in my children is strong work ethic, responsibility, and accountability. The world does not owe you anything, and that anything truly worth having can only be earned through hard work and perseverance. I think when those values are taught, it equips them with the tools they need to get through life confidently and with determination.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My husband and I own and operate Luxe by Lily Pad, a collective spa that we’re incredibly proud of. Our space is home to not only our personal business, Lily Pad Aesthetics, but also four other women-owned businesses offering a variety of aesthetics and wellness services. Together, we’ve created a supportive and empowering environment for both clients and providers.
Getting to where we are today was far from easy. We started in an 80-square-foot room and, through hard work and determination, have grown to running our own commercial space that spans nearly 2,000 square feet. We’re especially proud of this growth, given the minimal knowledge we had when starting in the industry.
We’ve learned that business ownership is challenging but incredibly rewarding. My husband and I often joke that we’d take 16-hour days at the spa over 12-hour shifts at our current jobs any day. It’s a testament to how much we love what we do and the passion we bring to our work.
What we want the world to know is that Luxe by Lily Pad is more than just a spa; it’s a space where dreams, hard work, and community come together. We’re honored to provide services that help people feel and look their best while supporting other women entrepreneurs in the process

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit, I’d skip the usual touristy stuff like the River Walk—unless they’ve never been or really wanted to see it—and take them to some of my favorite spots instead. We’d definitely head to downtown Fredericksburg to check out the cute little shops and maybe grab some wine. If we’re feeling adventurous, we’d hike Enchanted Rock for the views—it’s so worth it.
A stop at Buc-ee’s is non-negotiable. It’s like the ultimate road trip stop with awesome snacks and cool finds. I’d also take them to New Braunfels to hang out at Landa Park, where we could chill and enjoy the outdoors. And to top it all off, we’d hit up the local swap meet for some amazing food and fun shopping. It’s such a great way to spend time and support local businesses

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I can’t attribute my journey to just one person or organization, as I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by many incredible individuals who have shaped my path. From supportive family and friends to inspiring mentors and colleagues, each has contributed in unique ways to my growth and success. I’m deeply grateful for the collective guidance, encouragement, and opportunities I’ve received along the way.
