We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah & Robie Pentecostes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah & Robie, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
We both love and enjoy food and travel so much. We try different and unique spots around town and on our travels. So we figured, why not make a page where we can share all the places that we enjoy and maybe, some other people like us might enjoy it too.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are just a regular couple, who has regular full time jobs and just enjoys some good time on weekends :). Having that said, it’s definitely tricky and exhausting to find balance in creating content most of the time, especially when you still have to capture, edit and post. But over time, we slowly learned some little tricks that worked for us while working and still be able to make our page/content creating fun and interesting. We’re not yet near where we want our page to be at, but we’ve definitely come a long way such as learning to find a good time management technique and accepting what our audiences/people wants to see. We’re also still learning every day, but we just want our followers/audiences to know, that we truly value and appreciate your time just by looking at our page. We also don’t want to be considered as the usual influencers/content creator people with a bad stereotype, that’s why we try to be as open as possible. We understand we all have our own opinions, so there’s nothing but love from us that we hope everyone would see :).

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If we have to show someone a good time in town, this might be how our itinerary might look like according to our lifestyle:

1st day – Give them a taste of a good Texas bbq right away! Htown has a lot of nice places such as Blood Bros, Killens, etc.

2nd day – Houston has a lot of good museums, Natural Science, Mfah, Menil, etc. Plenty of good restaurants in the area too such as Le Jardinier inside Mfah itself.

3rd day – This can be a city tour/murals/drink spots that different local companies offers in downtown.

4th day – River Oaks/Heights/Montrose always has plenty of wide selection of stores, good restaurants, wine/beer spots, live music and more.

5th day – Uptown area restaurants/Galleria Mall/Water wall are a great spot as well

6th day – Can’t forget Galveston/Kemah/Moody gardens/Nasa area

7th day – Houston restaurants has plenty of good brunch spots that’s worth the visit

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our special recognition goes out to our immediate family members! Since we started doing content creation on social media, they’re so happy and excited for us every time we share to them our experiences along the way as we grow our page. They might not like, comment, share and save all our posts, but seeing them happy for us is definitely a great feeling.
