Meet Shaundel Neverson | Content Creator & Fashion Model

Hi Shaundel, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
One of the habits that helped me succeed as a content creator and fashion model is consistency. If I want to put out content into the world that my audience can relate to or gravitate towards , I must be consistent. I want to ensure that I am staying on the algorithm and I keep many engaged with my content. Another habit that has helped me is organization. I find the notes app on my iPhone very useful when it comes to meeting deadlines and upcoming projects. I am able to prioritize what content needs to be pushed out first , and what content I have more time to dwell on.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most excited about what my future entails and what brands I will be collaborating with next. I got to where I am today professionally by rebranding myself and my Instagram page and knowing what audience I am trying to target. One of the lessons that I have learned along the way is that as a content creator , nothing will come easy. There are times when a video/ photo will attract a large number of people and times when a video will not go as far as you want it to go. All in all, being a creator takes practice and hardwork.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For starters , I would definitely have to take my bestfriend to 42nd street Times Square to see all of New York’s finest excursions. There is Madam Tussauds, Dallas BBQ’s with the best drinks , theater shows, and lots of stores to go shopping ! We would go visit Central Park and enjoy the city view and different events happening throughout the park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely have to give shoutouts to my cousins who are always by my side with encouraging words and ideas when it comes to certain projects I am unsure how to take on. Also, shout-out to my cousin , Jalisa Quinique for referring me to this interview . I also have to give a shout-out to my friend/photographer check him out @hippievisions on Instagram. He believed in my modeling career more than I believed in myself , and has shown endless support when it comes to photoshoot opportunities and building my portfolio. Last but not least , I have to give a shout-out to my mom who continuously supports me as I went on this journey to follow my dreams.
