Hi Shonta, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite scripture is: For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 This scripture reminds me of God’s plan for my life. Which is my guiding light in this world. I like the proclamation in this scripture of God’s promise for my life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a travel agency owner. My agency specializes in destination weddings, group travel, cruise travel, and solo travel. I’m proud that I am an independent agency owner. My agency is comprised of myself and three very dedicated travel agents. My successful history as a local wedding planner helped me become a destination wedding planner. Planning a local wedding and a destination wedding are very different. However, being detail oriented is the key component to producing a successful destination wedding. One of the keys that has helped my agency gain referrals is the fact that we build a relationship with our clients. I have been in the wedding industry for over 15 years. I still keep in touch with all of my past brides. I love the fact that I have helped them with not only their weddings but other major events in their life. We move from wedding day, to honeymoons, babymoons, and anniversary trips. Our goal is never to just book one trip for a client. I would like the world to know that our agency strives to become your preferred travel agency for all major travel needs in your life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to town our itinerary would be the following: Barry’s Pizza The Breakfast Klub Simply Scents By Shan The Food Truck Park @ The Power Center The Drive-In @ Sawyer Yards
