We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Galnarez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Most people hear the word “risk” and think of danger or risking losing something valuable, however when I think about risk, I think about doing things you don’t normally do to succeed. Risk taking has played a huge part in my life/career. From leaving a stable 9-5 office job to working for myself and never having a set salary guaranteed and also I risked being judged by everyone around me for the career path I chose to take.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is that I live my life unapologetically. I genuinely do not care about the negativity I receive. I am most proud of coming up on my own and the hardships I’ve been through and now being able to provide for my family with no issues.
It was extremely difficult to get to where I am. It took a lot of hard work and sacrifice. I started off working a 9-5, being a single mother, getting off work and still working on creating content. Then when Covid started I got let go of my office job due to covid exposure and I chose to pursue creating content full time although it was scary and I had no idea how it would go.
There is a lot of cons working on social media as well as being an Onlyfans content creator. I had people who knew me make comments saying what I was doing was not a good look. Family was not supportive. People said I would get no where and would accomplish nothing serious and fail. I got labeled and judged.
I started to have thick skin and realized no ones opinions mattered. I was comfortable with what I was doing and I was very happy. I learned and I now understand just cause I chose a career path they wouldn’t take doesn’t mean I am any less of a person.
I want people to know that there is so much more to me than just a face posting funny videos on Instagram and posting explicit content. I’ve turned this into my business. This is how I take care of my family and its allowed me to spend so much of my time with my family unlike every other job I had prior to this.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, there is a couple of people that have helped, offered support and encouragement. One person is my best friend, Mela. When I started working for myself and fully getting involved in the adult industry she was one of the most supportive person I had around me and helped me deal with all the negativity I encountered. Another person is a friend of mine, Dallas. He deserves a lot of credit because I learned so much from him being in this industry. The hate we get at times, how he handled it, the judgement and how he dealt with It helped me so much and how successful he has been as well.
