Meet Steven Champagne | Photographer & Videographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Steven Champagne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steven, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After selling my health and wellness company that focused on life coaching I decided to return to photography and videography to continue my pursuit making the world a better place by helping change people. I understand people very well and can relate to their hardships which allows me the ability to use my creativity to build art that is powerful for my clients and very personal. My hope is to create unique art with the camera and lens that helps us grow as a unified people and world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Victorious Ones is not just a word that I came up with, it is a description of my life. I have been to the top and the very bottom and back again. My life is one of discovery, failure, and overcoming. I am grateful for all my experiences and believe that they have given me unique insight and ability to do things others cannot. I have always been an artist and teacher. Victorious Ones exists to offer my abilities to help others find their way to create and grow and overcome the obstacles in their life. A way to become one of the Victorious Ones.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would spend time with my family, this is something that we do regularly. Spending time together is important, but each day I am active and love the outdoors so hitting the gym first thing in the morning is paramount, then the local mountain bike trails with my friend and our kids, or the lake is always a good morning. We have made friends with some of the local restaurant owners and would stop by to socialize and enjoy some great food, we would explore a part of town I have never been to, discuss philosophy, history, art, movies, and of course photography. End up coming up with some grand idea for a video or photoshoot and start planning the next Victorious Ones production.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have not had an easy life by any means, but it has been blessed each day by my faith in God and my wonderful family and friends. I have never met a person that I did not want to help or love. I am grateful for all that have accepted me as a friend and return the kindness and help in return. There are so many people that have helped me along my journey and I could not have reached this far without them. There is no way I can repay them except to try each day to give back to others and be the best man I can be which is what I strive to do. My only hope is that all I come across understand that I strive and study to live for God, help others, and to make this world a better place. Thank you!
