We had the good fortune of connecting with Carli Kilgore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carli, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think that each practitioner has his or her strengths that set them apart. My success and why clients come to me, is because I have mastered the craft of taking high level interventions and making them easy to understand and realistic to implement. In many cases, I can speak from experience and give them the motivation and tools to reach their goals without being intimidated.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Wellness By Carli was not something I realized I wanted until after it was already being planned. But once the ball was rolling and my schedule started filling up, I really had to pinch myself. It’s an absolute dream to be my own boss. I get to create whatever I want this entity to be. It’s very liberating. Wellness By Carli is an integrative nutrition practice. I use food, lifestyle, and natural supplements to help people feel their best. It’s a place where people are heard. I have personal experience in being frustrated and not getting answers from the medical community so I make sure people who come to me are taken care of, the very best I can. I also really pride myself on authenticity. I share and educate on everything I believe to be true about health and wellness and I practice what I preach. Helping people feel better is endlessly fulfilling and I am certain I have found my true calling.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would certainly not be where I am without the support of my family, specifically my parents and my husband. My parents supported me through changing careers and moving to Texas when it didn’t make much logical sense. They blindly supported my career moves and always had confidence in me. My husband also gets a lot of credit. He never doubted me when I wanted to leave my job and start my own practice when I was pregnant with our first child and living in an apartment. It was not a convenient time to be making moves but he never questioned it at all. He knows me better than I know myself, and he has always believed in my success. I am so lucky to have the best cheerleaders!
