Meet Sway Ambrose | Editorial & Lifestyle Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sway Ambrose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sway, what do you attribute your success to?
There’s no one factor that’s behind my photography career more than any other. I started taking pictures when I was younger, and it’s always been a passion of mine. But what really drives me is the ability to capture great visuals and share them with others.
I love the challenge of getting the perfect shot, and I enjoy seeing the world through my lens. It’s my way of capturing memories and moments that can be shared and enjoyed for years to come. And as long as I keep having fun with it, I’ll keep doing it!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would say that my photography is different from other photographers because I’m most proud of or excited about the moments that I capture.I strive to document the emotions and connections between people in a way that is honest and raw, and I hope to create images that will be cherished for years to come. Whether it’s a family photo, wedding, or portrait session, my goal is always to create images that are both beautiful and timeless.
It wasn’t easy getting from aspiring photographer to actually doing it full time. I think a large part of it was just making the decision to take photography seriously and not halfheartedly going after it. Once I decided that I wanted to be a professional photographer, there were lots of things that had to fall into place in order for me to make that happen. Fortunately, I have an amazing network of friends and family who encouraged and supported me as I went after my dream. They believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, and that made all the difference. Additionally, educational resources like YOUTUBE played a big role in helping learn essential techniques. Full-time photography wasn’t something that happened overnight — it took years of hard work.
What I want the world to know about me is not easy to sum up in just a few sentences, but I’ll give it a try.
I’m a creative visual artist and photographer with a passion for problem solving. I also happen to be a warlock, which means I have access to powerful magic. I use my powers to help those in need and make the world a better place.
I believe that we all have the potential to make a difference in the world, no matter how small. Every act of kindness, no matter how seemingly insignificant, can make a big impact. That’s why I try to always be kind and helpful, even if it’s just in little ways.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give credit and recognition to my family, friends, and clients who have supported me throughout my journey. My family has always been there for me, no matter what. They’ve provided unconditional love and support, and they’ve helped me through some of the toughest times. My friends are amazing people who have become like brothers and sisters to me. They’ve always been there for a good laugh or a shoulder to cry on. And my clients….I couldn’t ask for better clients! They’re supportive, encouraging, and truly appreciate the work that I do. I’m so grateful for all of them!
