We had the good fortune of connecting with Taesha Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taesha, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my business and my brand is just making people feel beautiful. I’ve been doing this for a while and it never gets old as to how I can make someone’s day in a matter of a hour if that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I haven’t always been who I am today. I moved to Houston 5 years ago all the way from Las Vegas. With nothing, I had to loose it all to get it back plus more. I am most proud of never giving up no matter how hard or how long the mission seemed to be. I want the world to know that no matter how hard the finish line seems to be you can always cross it with discipline and consistency.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is actually ironic because my best friend actually came to visit from Vegas. So we went out to eat at some fun brunch places such as seaside and taste bar with good food and nice music. As for night life we would swing to Washington for some nice music and fun and on a dinner night we went to thirteen the restaurant as well as some museums downtown.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, the power of a praying women has help me and developed me into more than one way of thinking to praying over my business and seeing things actually come try as to developing myself into the woman that I am today I am forever grateful for that as well as rich dad poor dad has helped me develop a mindset that with no matter what I have at this very moment I can turn this into a live changing business not only for myself and my family but those around me.
