We had the good fortune of connecting with Tanissian Sellers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tanissian, what do you attribute your success to?
First and foremost, God along with having the desire to push the vision He has given me. I strive to create not only with a Spirit of Excellence but with my clients vision in mind. I believe that is what has allowed for the growth and success of my brand over the years. I not only love to CREATE custom items that Encourage, Uplift and Motive others but also enjoy writing as well, I am a Self Published Author of 2 books titled “His Love is Absolute” which speaks about God’s unadulterated, complete and perfect love for us as well as “Created by the Creator to Create” in which I share my personal testimonial of my entrepreneurship process and a Creators Journal that helps other Creatives on their journey, all 3 can be found on Amazon as well as my Website listed below. I haven’t always been as bold and confident in my Christian beliefs however over the years I’ve become more spiritually mature which in return has  helped me to design items that make bold Statements. I’ve learned that many times without even saying a word you can share your love of Christ and your Christian walk simply by what you’re wearing which has allowed my Statement Tees to become my most popular product.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I love creating in every aspect, my saying CREATED by the CREATOR to CREATE is something that I incorporate into my business every chance I get. I truly believe we were Created by the Creator to CREATE and that doesn’t just mean creating items it means creating an atmosphere where God gets the Glory for the talent He has given you, for example: a Teacher can create an atmosphere where children can learn and become successful adults, a Nurse can create an atmosphere where others are healed and walk in their God given purpose and so on…. using your God given talents allow for God to get the Glory which rightfully belongs to Him. Getting to where I am today has definitely been a journey that had I known prior to embarking I may have never took simply out of fear however trusting God had to come into full effect in my personal life and professional life to continue this journey, it hasn’t always been easy but it’s been worth it. Entrepreneurship was new to me; I didn’t have mentors per say so I pretty much learned by the leading of the Holy Spirit and much trial and error which can be out biggest teacher. Something I would encourage anyone to do is to just do it, do it scared do it alone but do it because if God gave it to you, you are the one He has chosen to push it, it will all fall into place in His timing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to our beautiful Pensacola beaches and do a little shopping in some of our downtown Palafox boutiques while eating some good soul food on Belmont and we’d definitely have to fit in some time to get our praise, and worship on and receive a much needed Word for spiritual growth with my church family at Kingdom Builder’s Christian Ministries Int’l where we are truly doing a great work for the Kingdom of God.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God first and foremost for bestowing upon me this talent and desire to Create, My Husband (Craig) who encourages me to do what I love and be confident and who I am as a Woman of God, My Children (Christopher, Emory, Madisyn, Lewis and Craig Elias) who are constant reminders that God loves me so much that He favored me to be their Mother and last but certainly not least, my Leaders Apostle L.R. Gooden Jr. and Apostle-elect Jennifer Gooden are a huge reason as to why I’m walking in my God given purpose, I joined my current ministry broken and God used them to help mold me and help restore not only me but my family. Every one of them support and push me to be the best version of me and who God has created me to be. I’m extremely grateful for their love and patience and will forever be grateful for them because they are indeed God given blessings.
